Managing Team Access

Lunar.dev allows you to invite team members to collaborate on managing your organization's API consumption. By sharing the same dashboard, your team can work together to monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot API usage at an organizational level, ensuring a unified and efficient approach to managing resources.

Inviting Team Members​

To transform your personal dashboard into a team dashboard, follow these steps to invite team members:

  1. Click on your User Avatar from the main dashboard.
  2. Select the Invite Members option to invite new members to your Lunar.dev dashboard.
  3. Set your Organization Name to ensure all invitees are grouped under the same organization.
  4. Enter the email addresses of the team members you wish to invite.
  5. Once the invitations are sent, your team members will receive an email with instructions to join and access the shared dashboard.

Team Dashboard Features​

Once team members are invited, they will be able to:

  • View the shared dashboard: All team members can view and interact with the same dashboard data, promoting collaboration and ensuring everyone has access to the same insights about API usage and metrics.
  • Monitor API consumption together: Collaboratively track real-time API traffic, analyze consumption trends, and optimize API usage to align with organizational goals.

Roles and Permissions​

Currently, all organization team members share the same user permissions. The first user to sign up is designated as the owner of the organization, but they do not have any additional privileges compared to other members.
