OAuth Support
After over a month of preparation, we are excited to officially roll out OAuth support. While the core functionality has been in place for some time, we chose to wait until our UI offered complete and intuitive behavior before announcing it. This ensures both our clients and open-source users enjoy a smooth and reliable experience from day one.
This release also establishes the groundwork for connecting to remote MCP servers, with full compatibility in Tool Group definitions.
Tool Customization.
Based on user feedback, we have enhanced our tool customization with more granular control, now extending support to the parameter level. This allows users to inject custom parameter logic, fully integrated and supported within the MCPX UI.
ACL - New Format [breaking change]
We have updated our Access Control List (app.yaml
configuration) structure to a more declarative format, making it easier to configure and read while keeping the setup of Access Control definitions simple.
UX Fixes and Improvements
- Added support for loading multiple types of configuration files (
app.yaml
andmcp.json
) both at initialization and during runtime. - Backend integration errors are now surfaced directly in the UI, enabling users to quickly identify and resolve configuration issues with ease.
Audit Log Support
Two months ago, our Enterprise customers requested enhanced audit capabilities, and we are excited to share that this feature is now live in the Enterprise Version. It enables organizations to review user actions retrospectively, with all activity securely recorded to support operational oversight and compliance needs while respecting user privacy.
